I started at ICAN as a campaigner in 2013. From assisting at Civil Society Forums to delivering a speech at UN headquarters in Geneva, I have lived the mission. Now, after evolving my skills in the tech and corporate world, I'm bringing that expertise back where it belongs.
2013
Started as Campaigner
Began my journey at ICAN, assisting at the Civil Society Forum in Oslo. This formative experience shaped my understanding of international advocacy and nuclear disarmament efforts.
2014
Nayarit Conference
Supported ICAN’s Civil Society Forum in Nayarit through communications tasks, moderation support and Spanish-language translation, ensuring accessibility and coordination between campaigners.
2014-2021
Multiple Roles at ICAN
Worked in various capacities including Communications Intern, Project Coordinator, Designer, and Social Media Consultant. Created annual reports, booklets, social media campaigns, and digital content. Managed yearly grants for education risk projects in Latin America, with focus on Colombia.

UN Speech, Geneva
Delivered a speech representing ICAN at UN headquarters in Geneva during global campaigners' meetings, a defining moment demonstrating my capability to represent the organization on international stages.

Government Sector
Worked with Colombian Justice Ministry and Cadastre Bogotá, developing digital platforms and public communications. Learned how to make complex technical information accessible to general audiences.
